The Fight

"There's no doubt that there has been an increase in terrorism and one of the origins of that has been the situation in Iraq. I'm not at all sure that one can say that the world is safer."
Jacques Chirac, French President

When so much of this world is opposed to our president, and his policies, is it fair to say that Americans are wrong? When the leaders of progressive nations like France, Germany, New Zealand, and Canada voice such strong resistance to American actions abroad, it must force us to take notice. To use Nazi Germany as an example, the citizens of that nation were certain that it was their destiny to rule the world, under Adolph Hitler's guiding hand. Americans are convinced that the world must be conquered and Democratized in order to secure everlasting peace and prosperity. Sounds like religious promises to me. Americans are flocking to give honor to George W, in exchange for his promises of dominance.
Who can stop America from her power-hungry bullying? Certainly not Canada, or France. China would put up a good fight, but ultimately would lose to our superior technological strength. In fact, if every nation were to simultaneously gang up against America, I think America would be able to handle herself readily. So, then, who can subdue our madness?
Us. Those who call themselves Americans and oppose the current administration. We are the ones who must hold ourselves responsible for our countries current trend in destruction.
